As Christ followers these are the things we will do together during 2010–2012:

•We will commit to be passionate about God as we step out and take risks together.

Our biblical focus will take us to Hebrews 12:1–2 (NIV): “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Lorna Hall joined the Mercer-Adams family in the summer of 2005 after returning to her native Oklahoma. In vocational ministry for 30 years, She enjoys working closely with families, helping to ease their grief and lighten their load.

Lorna has been a women’s inspirational speaker for over 20 years leading conferences, retreats, bible studies, and workshops. In 1993, she launched a ministry called Women Reaching Women, aimed at counseling and evangelizing hurting women. She is a certified trainer leading/assisting in planning strategy for women’s evangelism. She currently assists the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention as a telephone encourager.

Lorna will be Our guest speaker at our 14th Annual Lockewood Ladies Retreat.

Lockewood will be hosting its 14th Annual Ladies Retreat this year. As always, we look forward to seeing each of you. Feel free to invite a friend.

The retreat is already in the planning stage to make it another memorable year for you. As the years have passed we have continued to grow in this ministry. Praise God, through His anointing we are getting ready for “Bags to Riches, having it ALL with God” for this years topic.

The doors will open at 8:00 a.m. A Continental breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. The program begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

A delicious lunch prepared by the men of Lockewood around noon. In keeping with our topic of the day the menu is as follows: Brown Bag Sack Lunch including but not limited to: Chicken Salad Sandwich, Fruit, Chips & a Cupcake and a beverage.

Door prizes will be drawn throughout the day. There will also be grand prizes awarded at the end of the day. You must be present to win.

There will also be music throughout the day led by Jim Spargo, Aimee Myers and Kevin Nance. Lockewood’s drama team, A.C.T.S. will be on hand to add a little something to the day. Mark your calendars and make plans now to attend.
